Josip Causic is an options instructor for the Online Trading Academy and a contributor to The Options Insider Web site.

Before starting his professional trading career, Josip was an educator. He taught English at the University of Toronto and, since his relocation to the United States, has also taught science and math at various private and public institutions. During this period, Josip also completed an additional degree at California State University at Fullerton.

Later, after being accepted to UC Riverside, Josip decided to change course, investing time, energy, and resources into becoming financially literate.

At first, Josip's trading style revolved around the CANSLIM method, a combination of fundamental and technical analysis. After he met former market makers, he merged his retail trading experience with the methods used by floor traders. This gave him an immediate edge.

Josip now uses his hands-on experience of options trading, both directional and volatility plays, to teach at the Online Trading Academy, where he was once a student. He particularly loves to focus on teaching the risk adverse options strategies such as time spreads and iron condors.
