by Michael Shulman 07/24/08I'm not sure if this whole thing is best described as a comedy or a horror flick, but I do know that millions of Americans will be glued to their seats to see how this plays out, me included.
It doesn't matter who gets elected; President McBama will propose a budget with a near-trillion-dollar deficit. The current state of the homebuilding and mortgage market can make "The Amityville Horror" seem like a love story.
I'd tell you to go get some popcorn, but with the price of corn these days, you'll have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it -- and we've already covered how that's going. It seems like Buncha (Credit) Crunch might be a better fit for this movie, anyhow!
