BIDU volatility at 49; share price near record high into EPS
Baidu (BIDU) is recently up $1.18 to $436.50.
The company is scheduled to report Q3 EPS Oct. 27.
RBC Capital Markets raised its price target to $484 from $339.
BIDU call option volume of 12,842 contracts compares to put volume of 6,472 contracts.
BIDU November option implied volatility is at 49, and December is at 46, below its six-month average of 52, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price fluctuations after EPS.
