GTx Inc. (GTXI) is recently up 48 cents to $9.60.
The company's toremifene is the subject of Phase III trials, which are being conducted under Special Protocol Assessments (SPAs), for the amelioration of side effects of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in men with prostrate cancer and for the prevention of prostrate cancer. Results are expected soon.
GTXI November 10 straddle is priced at $4.95, and December is priced at $5.10.
GTXI December calls are at 156, and puts are at 172; January calls are at 136, and puts are at 157; above its six-month average of 120, according to Track Data, suggesting larger price movement.
VIX up 9.3%
The CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) is recently up $2.11 to 24.38.
