Apple (AAPL) is recently down 11 cents to $206.54.
Apple call option volume of 36,095 contracts compares to put volume of 10,174 contracts.
Apple December option implied volatility is at 31, January is at 33, and April is at 34, below its six-month average of 37, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
THOR volatility decreases as shares rally 10% on positive trial data
Thoratec Corp. (THOR) is recently up $3.25 to $31.33.
The company's new heart pump worked better in heart-failure patients who were ineligible for a heart transplant than an older, approved device, according to a study released today.
Call option volume of 6,952 contracts compares to put volume of 2,114 contracts.
December option implied volatility is at 36, below a level of 48 from Nov. 16, and below its six-month average of 47, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
