ABX November option implied volatility is at 50, and December is at 52, above its six-month average of 47, according to Track Data, suggesting non-directional price movement.
SPY November volatility at 25; puts contracts exceeding calls
SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) is recently up 17 cents to $104.48.
SPY options are active on 381,446 call contracts and 566,791 put contracts, according to Track Data.
SPY November volatility is at 25, and December is at 26. SPY 52-week high volatility of 75 was reached on Nov. 20, 2008; the low was 18 on Oct. 22.
