COO December call volatility at 40, January at 33 into EPS

Cooper Companies (COO) closed yesterday at $34.05.

This manufacturer of specialty health care products is expected to report Q4 EPS on Dec. 8.

December call option implied volatility is at 40, and puts are at 45; January calls are at 33, and puts at 38; versus its six-month average of 42, according to Track Data.


AMZN volatility low into Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Amazon.com (AMZN) is recently up 9 cents to $133.03 in pre-market trading.

Goldman Sachs (GS) increased its price target to $146 from $125.

AMZN December and January option implied volatility is at 40, versus its six-month average of 45, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
