CSC December volatility near 18-month lows into EPS

Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) is recently down 21 cents to $53.94.

The company is reporting Q2 EPS Nov. 11.

Kaufman Bros. reaffirmed its "buy" rating and $62 price target on CSC.

CSC November option implied volatility is at 37, and December is at 30, versus its 26-week average of 32, according to Track Data, suggesting non-directional price fluctuations after EPS.


PCLN volatility decreases as shares rally 12% on EPS and outlook

Priceline.com (PCLN) is recently up $20.72 to $194.32.

The company reported better-than-expected Q3 EPS.

PCLN November option implied volatility is at 45, below a level of 69 from Nov. 10; December and January are at 43, versus its 26-week average of 47, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
