Denbury Resources (DNR) will acquire Encore Acquisition (EAC). EAC shareholders will receive $15 in cash and $35 in DNR stock for every EAC share.
DNR is recently down $1.21 to $13.39.
The company postponed its previously scheduled Nov. 3 Q3 EPS call until Nov. 5.
DNR November option implied volatility is at 61, and December is at 56, versus its six-month average of 57.
DNR call option volume of 2,512 contracts compares to put volume of 4,671 contracts, according to Track Data.
F November volatility decreases as shares rally on EPS and outlook
Ford (F) is recently up 56 cents to $7.56.
The company reported Q3 EPS ex-items of 26 cents versus consensus estimates of 12 cents.
F reported Q3 net income of $997 million, an improvement of $1.2 billion from Q3 2008.
F November option implied volatility is at 57, and December is at 57, versus its six-month average of 69, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
