FXI volatility low at 33

The iShares Trust FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index Fund (FXI) is recently up $1.14 to $46.52.

FXI is an index fund that seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index.

FXI overall option implied volatility of 33 is below its six-month average of 36, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.


ADSK overall volatility flat into EPS and outlook

Autodesk (ADSK) is recently up 6 cents to $27.31.

The company is scheduled to report Q3 EPS on Nov. 17.

Jefferies said, "Expecting good enough 3Q EPS; still a lot of earnings power here."

ADSK November 27 straddle is priced at $1.65, and December is priced at $2.85.

December option implied volatility is at 42, and January is at 41, versus its six-month average of 44, according to Track Data.
