GPS December volatility low into EPS and inventory outlook

Gap Inc. (GPS) is recently down 6 cents to $22.08.

The company is expected to report Q3 EPS Nov. 19.

GPS November option implied volatility is at 51, and December is at 41, versus its six-week average of 45, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement after EPS.


KO volatility low into innovation and margins outlook at analyst meeting

Coca-Cola (KO) is recently up 8 cents to $56.05.

The company is scheduled to host an investor meeting Nov. 16-17.

Deutsche Bank has a "buy" rating on KO.

KO November option implied volatility is at 18, and December is at 19, versus its six-month average of 23, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
