SLV volatility at 38; precious metal prices trend higher
iShares Silver Trust (SLV) is recently up 30 cents $17.39.
Silver futures are recently up 1.84% to $17.69, according to Bloomberg.
SLV overall option implied volatility of 38 is near its six-month average of 40, according to Track Data, suggesting slightly decreasing price movement.
AEM volatility flat on $1,107 gold
Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. (AEM), a Canadian gold producer, is recently up $2.99 to $60.54.
Gold is recently trading up 0.99% to $1,106.50, according to Bloomberg.
AEM November option implied volatility is at 56, and December is at 58, near its six-month average, according to Track Data, suggesting non-directional price movement.
