WMT November options active into EPS and outlook
Wal-Mart (WMT) is recently up 17 cents to $52.17.
The company is expected to report Q3 EPS Nov. 12.
Robert W. Baird & Co. said, "Inexpensive stock, trends poised to accelerate -- outperform."
WMT call option volume of 36,900 contracts compares to put volume of 21,913 contracts.
WMT November call option implied volatility is at 24, and puts are at 25; December calls are at 20, and puts are at 22; versus its six-month average of 24, according to Track Data.
LOW November volatility at 46 into EPS
Lowe's (LOW) is recently down 18 cents to $21.08.
The company is scheduled to report Q3 EPS Nov. 16.
LOW November 20 straddle is priced at $1.30, and December is priced at $2.10.
LOW November option implied volatility is at 46, and December is at 40, versus its six-month average of 41, according to Track Data, suggesting non-directional price movement after EPS.
