CTXS calls active into earnings and outlook

Citrix Systems (CTXS) is recently down 32 cents to $41.08.

CTXS is expected to report Q1 EPS on January 27.

CTXS February 45 calls have traded 53 times on transaction volume of 10,780 contracts, above its open interest of 5,840 contracts.

February option implied volatility is at 43; June is at 37; versus its six-month average of 41, according to Track Data.


GS puts more active than calls on flat volatility

Goldman Sachs (GS) is recently up $1.38 to $155.49.

February put option implied volatility is at 35; April is at 36, versus its six-month average of 34.

GS call option volume of 45,901 contracts compares to put volume of 109,251 contracts according to Track Data.
