XLF call option volume of 18,164 contracts compares to put volume of 57,557 contracts suggesting traders hedging for downside price movement.
BKX February volatility at 29
The PHLX KBW Bank Sector Index (BKX), a capitalization-weighted index composed of 24 geographically diverse banks, is recently up 14 cents to $47.96.
BKX February option implied volatility is at 29, and March is at 32, according to Track Data.
