Evergreen Solar Inc. (ESLR) -- This maker, developer and marketer of solar-power products in Europe and the United States has settled into a trading range of about $8.50 to $13.
On July 22, the Trade of the Day said, "But ESLR had a big run last year from around $9 to more than $18 before, like the market, succumbing to selling. Since March, ESLR has been consolidating around its 200-day moving average with support at just under $9. For those searching for an active member of the solar industry this could be the company and the price to enter the sector."
Profitable members of the solar energy group have often gone unnoticed and then exploded. Even though it hasn't moved much since we first looked at it, ESLR may still be one of those stealthy stocks.

Traders and longer-term investors should sell any new positions at the first opportunity and short ETFs on a temporary recovery in the market.
