Brocade (BRCD) is recently up 42 cents to $9.49.

The company is the frequent subject of takeover reports and chatter.

BRCD October option implied volatility is at 94, November is at 78, and January is at 71, above its 26-week average of 59, according to Track Data.

BRCD call option volume of 182,970 contracts compares to put volume of 40,937 contracts, according to Track Data.
