WFC volatility low into EPS, commercial and consumer loan losses

Wells Fargo (WFC) is recently up 25 cents to $30.31.

The company is expected to report Q3 EPS on Oct. 21.

WFC November option implied volatility is at 43, and January is at 42, below its six-month average of 62, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price fluctuations.


YHOO volatility low into EPS, outlook and analyst meeting

Yahoo (YHOO) is recently down 27 cents to $16.95.

The company is scheduled to report EPS after the market close today.

YHOO is hosting an analyst meeting on Oct. 28.

YHOO November option implied volatility is at 42, and January is at 41, below its six-month average of 49, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
