XNPT November volatility at 105, March at 84 into data
Biopharmaceutical company XenoPort (XNPT) is recently trading at $18.68.
The Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) date for the company's XP-13512 drug for RLS (restless leg syndrome) is expected on or before Nov. 9.
XNPT November option implied volatility is at 105, December is at 97, and March is at 84, above its six-month average of 83, according to Track Data, suggesting larger price movement.
MNTA March volatility elevated into FDA
Momenta Pharmaceuticals (MNTA) is recently down 16 cents to $9.43.
The FDA is expected to make a decision on the company's M-Enoxaparin treatment for deep vein thrombosis in the next nine months.
MNTA November option implied volatility is at 50, January is at 98, and March puts are at 125, versus its six-month average of 98, according to Track Data, suggesting larger price movement in 2010.
