Brazilian steel producer Gerdau (GGB) is recently down 21 cents to $9.88.
GGB is expected to report Q2 earnings in early August.
GGB July 10 puts have traded 22 times on transaction volume of 4,385 contracts verses its open interest of 9,613 contracts.
GGB July option implied volatility is at 62, August is at 62, September is at 65; below its 26-week average of 77, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
VIX up, S&P down
CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) is up 1.89 to 30.89. S&P 500 (SPX) is down 2.07% to 877.
