SCHW volatility low into Citi downgrade
Charles Schwab (SCHW) closed yesterday at $17.23.
Citi Global Markets lowered its rating on SCHW to "hold" from "buy."
SCHW August and September option implied volatility of 34 is below its six-month average of 54, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
VZ volatility low into EPS, wireless data and wireline revenue outlook
Verizon (VZ) closed yesterday at $31.27.
VZ is scheduled to report Q4 EPS on July 27.
Today VZ wireless announced Q2 2009 net customer additions of 1.1 million.
August option implied volatility is at 23 and October volatility is at 24, below its six-month average of 36, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
