JCG volatility collapses as shares rally 7% on higher-than-expected EPS

J. Crew Group (JCG) is recently up $2.42 to $35.14.

JCG reported better-than-expected Q2 EPS and outlook.

Citigroup (C) upgraded JCG to "buy."

JCG September option implied volatility is at 50, below a level of 68 on Aug. 27, and below its 26-week average of 67, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.


Options Activity

Active equity option families in first 15 minutes of trading, according to Track Data, are: Bank of America (BAC), Intel (INTC), Dell (DELL), AIG (AIG) and Apple (AAPL).
