NVDA August volatility at 74 and September at 58 into tonight's Q2 EPS and margin outlook

Nvidia (NVDA) closed at $13.40 yesterday.

NVDA is scheduled to report Q2 EPS after the market close today.

August option implied volatility is at 74 and September is at 58, verses its six-month week average of 67, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement after EPS.


PTR volatility low; oil approaches $72

PetroChina (PTR) closed at $118.13 yesterday.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures are recently up .51% to $71.60, according to Bloomberg.

PTR September option implied volatility is at 46 and December is at 41, below its six-month average of 50, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing movement.
