TXN volatility low on active September put volume into analyst day

Texas Instruments (TXN) is recently down 54 cents to $23.42.

The company is hosting an analyst day on Aug. 18.

TXN September option implied volatility is at 35 and October volatility is at 34, below its 26-week average of 39, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.


TJX August option prices up into EPS and inventory outlook

TJX Companies (TJX) is expected to report Q2 EPS on Aug. 18.

TJX is recently down 12 cents to $34.95.

Jefferies has a $33 price target on TJX.

TJX August option implied volatility is at 52, and September and October option implied volatility is at 35, below its six-month average of 41, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement after EPS.
