WSM volatility at 62; Q2 net revenues down 18% to $672 million

Williams-Sonoma (WSM) closed at $15.47 yesterday.

The company reported Q2 EPS of 5 cents verses a consensus of 9 cents.

WSM September option implied volatility is at 62 and November is at 58, below its six-month average of 67, according to Track Data.


DELL September volatility at 49; shares trended up after July analyst meeting

Dell (DELL) closed yesterday at $14.57.

The company is expected to announce Q2 EPS after the market close on Aug. 27.

DELL shares have rallied 22% since pre-announcing EPS at an analyst meeting on July 13.

DELL September option implied volatility is at 49 and November is at 44, verses its six-month average of 51, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement after EPS.
