FDX volatility decreases; shares up 8% on earning guidance

FedEx (FDX) is recently up $5.53 to $78.18.

The company said Q1 earnings, scheduled to be reported on Sept. 17, should exceed guidance.

FDX October option implied volatility of 37 is below a level of 45 from Sept. 10, and below its 26-week average of 47, according to Track Data.


RMBS November volatility low at 78

Rambus Inc. (RMBS) is recently up 39 cents to $18.42.

RMBS September option implied volatility is at 72, October is at 76, and November is at 78, versus its six-month average of 87, according to Track Data, suggesting decreasing price movement.
