HURN volatility at 76 as shares trend higher

Huron Consulting Group (HURN) is recently up 44 cents to $23.82.

On July 31, the company announced it would restate 2006-2008 and Q1 2009 results to properly account for earn-out payments.

HURN overall option implied volatility of 76 is below a level of 151 from Aug. 3, and above its 52-week low of 35 on June 22, according to IVolatility.


Stocks with rising implied volatility

The following stocks saw a rise in implied volatility on Sept. 24, according to IVolatility:

  • E-Trade Financial (ETFC): +14%
  • Ultra Financial ProShares (UYG): +7
  • Moody's Corp. (MCO): +9%
