Netease.com (NTES) operates an interactive online and wireless community in China. It also provides Chinese-language content and services through its games.
Chinese stocks have been on fire lately after several put up sizzling quarterly earnings -- just take a look at Sohu.com (SOHU).
During the past eight days, NTES option activty has been mostly bullish. Today, the volume is about eight times the usual volume and almost all of the volume is in the calls -- nearly 9,000 NTES May 25 Calls (NQGEE) and 1,500 NTES June 25 Calls (NQGFE).
Are these market participants taking a bullish stance for the earnings, which are expected sometime during the week of May 19, or is this a possible takeout?
